Integrated Control and Safeguarding Systems

ELSE provides design, development and implementation of Integrated Control and Safeguarding Systems (ICSS). The ICSS technology integrates process control functions within a common automation infrastructure which comprise of three (3) main subsystems; i.e., Process Control System (PCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), and Fire and Gas System (FGS). We deliver Functional Safety Assessment and Validation, performed by competent senior engineers under TÜV Rheinland certificate, to lead to an efficient and effective design for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and to ensure that all the activities and documentation for the Safety Life cycle phases have been completed as per requirements.

Our control system installations capability includes:

  • Front end and detailed engineering and design for industrial applications
  • Development and implementation of process control systems (PCS) based on ABB (800xA), PILZ (PAS4000), Siemens (SIMATIC PCS 7), Allen-Bradly (ControlLogix) and Schneider (Modicon M580) platforms
  • Development and implementation of HMI/SCADA ‎based on Wonderware, ClearSCADA and Citect
  • Fiber optic and copper cable control network design based on Profibus (PA/DP), Foundation Fieldbus (H1/HSE), Modbus and TCP/IP serial communication protocols
  • Deliver control system cyber security risk assessment and solutions based on IEC 62443
  • Prepare control system (PCS), safety system (SIS) and fire and gas (F&G) cyber security recovery and continuity plans
  • Effective participation in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) and HAZID (Hazard Identification) studies
  • Deliver Functional Safety Assessment and Validation based on AS IEC 61511 under TÜV Rheinland certificate
  • Start-up and commissioning support
  • Deliver loop tests for field sensors, logic solver, and final elements to satisfy IPL tests (Independent Protection Layer) and issue ITR’s (Inspection and Test Report)
  • FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) witnessing
